This styled wedding shoot was a dreamy shoot to be a part of!
Jessica with Lallier Event Design dreamed this gorgeousness up and allowed me to have freedom with the stationery (YAY!!). The shoot took place at McGill Rose Garden and the garden itself was the main inspiration from where the whole Stationery look came from. Jessica had a great vision as to what elements she wanted to incorporate and from there, this is what was dreamed up!
All vendor credits can be found at the end of the post.
Let’s face it. If you were a girl growing up in the 80s + 90s, the Golden Girls were a staple in your TV lineup. DVR didn’t exist then . . . so you either made sure you were home for it or you had a VHS tape ready to you in the VCR.
If you can recite the entire theme song . . . Thank You For Being a Friend, then this blog post is just for you my friend!
I think I love absolutely EVERYTHING about this styled shoot. The serene setting, the moss, the deep colors in the florals, the wood details, antlers …. seriously, I don’t think I can pick ONE favorite thing about this fall inspired shoot!
I am going to keep this blog post SUPER short and let the photos speak for themselves. Yah Photography captured the style and colors perfectly!
You’ll find all of the participating vendors at the end of the blog post!
December is my FAVORITE month of the year! To me it means family time, music that puts me in the Holiday mood, celebrations with friends, the birth of Jesus, cozy warm blankets, hot cocoa, parties, Christmas Trees, maybe a little snow if we’re lucky.
I was so happy when Monica Reid Photography asked Olive Paper to be a part of this cozy Christmas shoot! Take a look at the images and dream of a little wedding on a Christmas Tree Farm.
I probably will never have another big wedding again … I’ve been there, done that in my 20’s … but Carolina Bride reached out to me and I caved! The challenge was IF I was a bride (being a vendor in the Charlotte Wedding Industry), what would you choose to do?!
IF (big IF) I were a bride again and I had to choose vendors in Charlotte, it would be the hardest part for me since there is SO MUCH amazing TALENT in our industry here. I called my partner in crime, Ivy Robinson of Ivy Robinson Events and we got to work. Our styles are similar and she knows what I like and dislike so I rattled off my ideal color pallate and that was that!!
Jay at Indigo Photography shot all of the amazing looks that we came up with and I am sharing them here with you today!

I learned about Delight this past year at Pursuit Community (formerly Pursuit 31) in Rome, Georgia and of course, I just loved this idea! Founder Kristin Wall (also known to the Delight girls as “Momma Wall”) and has a huge heart for creative girls. I definitely wish there was something like this around when I was a teenager!
Photographer Jessica Lauren approached me about creating a stationery suite for these sweet girls to photograph at their retreat in Washington this past spring and I was so excited to be a tiny part of helping these creatives build a portfolio and have the opportunity to do something they might have never been a part of . . . A STYLED SHOOT!
So take a look at these beautiful images . . . and just be amazed at what these young girls can do!
