Happy Friday, friends!! I am so excited to share with you the beautiful images from Old South Studios and a little peek into the Mint Museum’s Coveted Couture Gala
…. planned by the talented Event Professor himself, David Klingel.
I am very happy to say that I work with some of the sweetest brides. Last year was no exception working with Sara and her hubby, Chris! Check out these photos from her wedding at BELFAIR PLANTATIONin Bluffton, South Carolina.
ALSO … check out the last photo in the group here – I LOVE when my clients come back for a Christmas Card. Makes my heart so happy!
I probably will never have another big wedding again … I’ve been there, done that in my 20’s … but Carolina Bride reached out to me and I caved! The challenge was IF I was a bride (being a vendor in the Charlotte Wedding Industry), what would you choose to do?!
IF (big IF) I were a bride again and I had to choose vendors in Charlotte, it would be the hardest part for me since there is SO MUCH amazing TALENT in our industry here. I called my partner in crime, Ivy Robinson of Ivy Robinson Events and we got to work. Our styles are similar and she knows what I like and dislike so I rattled off my ideal color pallate and that was that!!
Jay at Indigo Photography shot all of the amazing looks that we came up with and I am sharing them here with you today!
If you know anything about me, my best friends are like my family. So when my sweet wedding planner friend, Anne, wanted to start a family I was SO super excited . . . . as if it were my own sister having a baby! I might have squealed.
Some of you know Anne’s story – she’s shared it on it on her blog over at http://www.favormeeventsblog.blogspot.com/ – but I will just say that little Charlie Markey was prayed for pretty hard. He took his time getting in that belly . . . and gave his mom and dad a little scare when he arrived.
BUT – before he was born, I was so honored to co-host a shower with my friends Sara Shelor and Lauren Rosenau at the beautiful Johnson Carriage House. One thing I remind my clients when designing their invitations is to keep their venue in mind. So, taking my own advice, we embraced the equestrian style of the venue and pulled together a baby shower for the books!
Check out these amazing photos captured by Lauren Rosenau Photography! Also :: Vendor Credits listed below!
And one at the end I snagged from Anne of Charlie . . . . he’s a handsome little man, isn’t he?!!?!?
Happy Kentucky Derby Day friends! I was so excited to participate in this simple and elegant derby-styled shoot arranged by the oh-so-amazing wedding planner, Anne Markey … owner of Favor Me Events.
This event was shot on location at Johnson Carriage House and if you’re looking for this southern style for your event … this is a must-see venue. The owner is so wonderful to work with and every detail about the venue is perfect.
This shoot was featured in the Charlotte Wedding Magazine and is still one of my favorites!
